PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS TO WORK IN MEDIA/Miami, FL
As you know we are
working with Discovery Communications’ “Say Yes to the Prom Program” (Hilliary
Turnipseed) and specifically looking for students of color who are incoming
college freshmen (High School seniors) from the Miami, Florida area and
would like to intern this summer in Sales, Advertising, Digital Media OR
Communications. Our interns are paid and earn a matching funds
scholarship to help pay for college expenses. I have attached our
recruitment poster.
For the past 27 years
our mission has been to create career opportunities in the media industry for
students of color through programs that focus on scholastic achievement, direct
work experience and professional development. Together with almost 50
corporate sponsors, the Foundation currently supports more than 200 students
each year through a multi-year internship program for students of color to work
at media companies across the country.
Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and attend
a 4-Year college.
Our priority deadline is Tuesday, March
1st however, we will extend to March 8th for
your applicants.
