Subject: Children of Helen Alliance Inc., Scholarship Application

Dear Sir/Madam,

Warm greetings to you!  My name is Anastasia Fevrier from Children of Helen Alliance Inc., (formerly known as Children of Helen in Palm Beach Florida Inc.,). Our Organization has been working with the tri-state counties for the past five years in helping to identify eligible students for our annual scholarships.  To date, Children of Helen has awarded 25 scholarships to high school students in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.  We are again seeking your assistance in disseminating our scholarship information to the high schools in your county.

The scholarship information is as follows:

Name: Children of Helen Alliance Inc. 2017 Scholarship

Eligibility: Caribbean Descent. GPA Requirement: At least a 3.0

The other application,   the Eligibility: St. Lucian Descent, GPA Requirement: At least a 2.5

Application Deadline: April 22^nd 2017.

Children of Helen was founded by civic-minded former residents of Saint Lucia in Palm Beach County, Florida. Our purpose is to represent Saint Lucia, our island of heritage, by making positive contributions to our nearby communities and extending to the tri-county areas. The organization seeks to provide educational assistance, promote social and cultural interaction amongst people of Saint Lucian heritage and other national groups. We aim to create a framework for us to contribute towards the empowerment of people of Saint Lucian and other Caribbean heritage in our communities.
