I have attached the 2017 HEAT Scholarship application and please see below for
the website link for more information. This application is due on Saturday, January 28th,
2017.
The Miami HEAT and BankUnited are offering five (5) HEAT
Scholarships each valued at $5,000.00 available to high school seniors who
excel in academics and community service:
1. Three (3) Miami HEAT
Scholarships awarded.
2. One (1) Dr. Jack Ramsay
Scholarship awarded.
3. One (1) Alec Kessler Student-Athlete Scholarship awarded.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Miami HEAT Scholarship: Awarded to students who
have excelled in academics & community service and have a financial need.
Dr. Jack Ramsay Scholarship: Awarded to students
who have excelled in academics & community service and have a financial
need.
Alec Kessler Student-Athlete Scholarship: Awarded
to student who excels in academics & community service, participates in a
sport and has a
financial need.
Applications are due by Saturday,
January 28, 2017. Completed applications must be postmarked by this
date. Incomplete applications will not be considered. A Miami HEAT
representative will contact the recipients of the HEAT Scholarships prior to
June 30, 2017. All other applicants will be notified by mail. Scholarships will
be awarded per eligibility criteria below and per all NBA rules and
regulations.
Scholarship awards will be applied towards the winners’
first year college tuition in the Fall of 2017.
